Owl Barn is situated in the beautiful countryside of South Oxfordshire in the village of Warborough.
The market town of Wallingford is close by, and there are many amenities within walking distance or a short drive. The village of Dorchester-on-Thames is about a ten minute drive away where Dorchester Abbey can be found, and there are some lovely walks along the River Thames.
We have some fantastic restaurants in Oxfordshire close by: The Home Sweet Home pub in Roke (10 min drive),Crazy Bear in Stadhampton for Thai food (10 min drive), Lord Nelson in Brightwell Baldwin (20 mins drive) and The Mole Inn in Toot Baldwin.
Also, in the surrounding villages such as Benson, Dorchester-upon-Thames and of course Wallingford, there is a large number of pubs that serve food. Well worth taking a look around!
The historic city of Oxford is only about 12 miles away where the dreamy spires of the Oxford Colleges rise into the Oxfordshire sky - some of the landmarks such as the Radcliffe Camera will recognisable to any fans of 'Inspector Morse' and of course 'Lewis'.

Warborough is 3.4 miles from the market town of Wallingford, which is a 10 mins drive (local train station to Wallingford is Cholsey), Oxford City centre is 11.5 miles away which is a 25 mins drive - from there, trains to London Paddington take 59mins, and it's 8 miles to Didcot Parkway (the fast train to London Paddington takes 45 mins).
