Owl Barn is located in the South Oxfordshire village of Warborough...
...and close to Wallingford. It is a beautiful barn conversion that sleeps up to four people, fully furbished and located in idyllic, open countryside. A perfect self-catering retreat.
With a ground floor double bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, and a second bedroom (still on the ground floor) with a comfortable pull out double sofa bed.
The barn has a very large open plan lounge and kitchen, with a large dinning table and chairs - and there is also free wi-fi. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and there is also a washing machine and dryer. Outside, there is the convenience of private parking and an area for sitting with a small table.
There are beautiful surrounding fields, and various walks can be taken from the barn.
A small village food shop is within walking distance, and the village also has a church, post office and playground.
The Six Bells Pub & Restaurant
Warborough Green & cricket pitch
We also have a lovely village pub and restaurant - The Six Bells in Warborough (pictured above left) - which is also in walking distance. The Six Bells has been used in a number of episodes of Midsomer Murders, masquerading under different names - visit www.thesixbellswarborough.co.uk for more information - and is located opposite a Green and cricket pitch (pictured above right) and right at the back are large tennis courts. There's a short, 5 minute walk to the the banks of the River Thames, and if you visit their site, you'll find further ideas for walks of varying length - there are no excuses!
